Blogs were going out. Nothing was coming back.
The client was already publishing on their website, but without keyword research, without a content plan, and without any read on what search actually wanted from them. No query terms were clear. No keywords were tracked or targeted. The content existed, but it was not built to be found, so it was not ranking and it was not bringing in traffic.
LinkedIn told the same story. Posts were going out, but impression growth sat between 2 and 7%, with no strategy behind what got posted or when. We rebuilt both from the ground up on one calendar: SEO informing what LinkedIn talked about, and LinkedIn giving the new SEO content somewhere to travel.
Where they were
Blogs published with no keyword research, no SEO structure and no clarity on what terms to target
No keywords ranking, no query pages and no visible search performance
LinkedIn impressions growing only 2 to 7%, with no content strategy behind it
No consistent, measurable traffic to the website
Two programs, one calendar.
SEO and content. Keyword research from scratch, page by page content optimisation, and a full edit of the existing blog library to align it with the terms buyers were actually searching. Three new blogs written and published every month, with the SEO strategy itself revisited and adjusted weekly as rankings moved.
LinkedIn strategy. A weekly content strategy built directly off what was going live on the website that week, translated into 10 LinkedIn posts a week. That kept the page output tied to what the SEO program was already producing rather than running as a separate track.
What changed
Average CTR at 4.5%, up from 0%, at an average position of 11.5
435 average monthly clicks and 9,890 average monthly impressions
800+ average monthly active users on the website
LinkedIn impressions up 269%, with 80 post clicks and 12 new followers in a month
What eight months produced.
The pattern held here too: SEO gave LinkedIn something worth posting every week, and LinkedIn gave the new content a second place to be found. Rankings did not move because of one blog or one post. They moved because the content, the keywords and the weekly strategy were all pointed at the same terms at the same time.
