10 qualified meetings for a platform with zero prior EMEA clients

AI employee experience · No brand, no social proof, no reference customers in the region. Account timing and a pilot offer did the work instead.

AI employee experience · No brand, no social proof, no reference customers in the region. Account timing and a pilot offer did the work instead.

Results at a glance

  • Ten qualified meetings booked with a brand no one in the region had heard of

  • Every meeting booked with senior HR decision-makers, the CHRO and VP People personas targeted

  • First contact to booked meeting in five to seven days on average

No brand, no proof, and a category buyers could not name.

An AI platform running one-to-one employee conversations at scale needed its first EMEA pilot customers. It had zero clients in the region, no social proof a European CHRO would recognise, and a product category unfamiliar enough that the pitch needed a paragraph of explanation before it made sense.

That rules out the usual approach. With nothing to point to, the only remaining lever is timing and framing: reach accounts already spending money on the problem, and lead with the problem rather than the product.

Where they were

  • Zero EMEA clients, no brand recognition and no social proof in the target market

  • Enterprise HR technology buying cycles are long and committee-driven

  • The category, AI-run one-to-one employee conversations, was unfamiliar to buyers

  • Nothing in the outreach gave a CHRO a reason to trust an unknown vendor

Three stages, two channels.

  • Account selection. Prioritised companies showing live employee experience signals: a recent eNPS programme, an engagement announcement, or a Best Place to Work certification. Timing did more work here than any copy.

  • LinkedIn. A two to three touch connection-to-conversation sequence that shared a resource rather than pitching, establishing credibility with the CHRO before any email arrived.

  • Email. A four to five touch cadence building from industry data through product proof to a direct pilot invitation, every touch kept relevant to EMEA enterprise HR.

What changed

  • Ten qualified meetings booked against a CHRO and VP People target list

  • Accounts selected on live signals: eNPS programmes, engagement initiatives, workplace certifications

  • A pilot framing that reduced the ask to 50 employees and no procurement cycle

  • A repeatable EMEA playbook and CRM-ready handoffs with qualification context

What the programme produced.

Framing outreach around employee disengagement rather than the product gave CHROs a reason to engage before they had any reason to trust the brand. The pilot offer removed the rest of the risk: running something with 50 employees is a decision a CHRO can make alone, which is precisely why it converted where a demo request would not have.
